Ben is the youngest addition to the squad and he should add a lot of life and vigor to the team. Ben is a military man and spends his off nights doing his part to protect our country. Thank you Mr. Terfehr.
Ben has been very impressive so far in batting practice and in his limited game action. His swing has a lot of arm action and heavy whip which correlates into shots off his bat. He has already homered for the Warriors and has had a pretty impressive batting practice. His offense should be a huge addition to the lineup.
Ben's youth should serve him well in the field. He should be able to help out in the outfield and has shown some promise in the infield. I think with some seasoning he should be solid in the infield.
Personal Notes:
Ben has applied to be a sales associate at Dunder Mifflin Paper Co. in Scranton, Pennsylvania. No talk of the pending application as of yet, but he is keeping his hopes up to working with the fantastic staff in that location. He loves paper. Can't really fault the kid, can you?

John Wooten
Big John joins the team this year after a long athletic layoff. He is looking forward to getting back into the swing of things on the softball field. John and his family are newcomers to Resurrection Life church. Rumor has it, John settled on Rez Life because of the excellent softball history.
John has been showing signs of getting that rust off and has already had a few decent games. I expect that in time he will be able to rip off a few big hits. He certainly has been enjoying getting his legs stretched out and hustling out doubles. I can see Big John getting into at least one big fly this year.
Defensively, John will be getting lots of action behind the plate and in the oufield. He should be bouncing around behind the plate with cat-like quickness and shagging flyballs in the green grass. It should be lots of fun for him.
Personal Notes:
John is a two-time winner on Jeopardy. He parlayed his winnings into a small landscaping business that specialized in palm tree removal and gopher extraction. While his palm tree business nearly bankrupted the company here in Minnesota (no explanation needed) he is making a name for himself at local golf courses as his company 'Caddyshack Delux' treatment has been a big hit.
